All Aboard the
Music Memory Lane Train
From American Bandstand to Soul Train
A free, age-friendly music & movement experience.
Launching SOON — and traveling into senior communities across our region.
WHAT IS ALL ABOARD THE MEMORY TRAIN?
All Aboard the Memory Train brings people together through familiar music, gentle movement, and shared joy.
Inspired by the cultural legacy of American Bandstand and Soul Train, this experience celebrates music as a bridge between generations—without competition, pressure, or performance expectations.
Think of it as two things:
🌳 A joyful community gathering; and
🚐 A traveling music experience that goes where seniors live

HOW IT WORKS

1
The Kickoff
COMING SOON, CHECK BACK FOR EXACT DATES AND LOCATION
We start with an easygoing, age-friendly gathering:
-
Standing or seated movement
-
Singing, clapping, swaying—or watching
-
Plenty of seating and shaded areas
-
Caregivers and families included
-
Optional food trucks nearby if you want to linger
This event introduces the community to Music Memory Lane—and helps us reach senior communities that want us to visit next.
2
The Tour
After the kickoff, we take this experience directly into senior living communities over several months.
That includes:
-
Seated-first group sessions
-
Gentle upper-body movement
-
Familiar songs and rhythm instruments
-
Call-and-response moments
-
Room-to-room mini concerts for residents who can’t leave their rooms
No one is skipped. No one is rushed.
